From what I have read I think I will try and mount it a bit farther back on the roof to get it out of the air coming over the hood and roof line. I suspect that will go away once there is some weight in the box. The box was empty at the time of the test drive to there was a little buffeting. A normal conversation can still be had with out any effort. There is a little wind noise but nothing that is unexpected. I mounted it with the nose just above the leading edge of the sun roof.
